- Sports Performance Coach & Personal Trainer
Description
I’m Connor, owner of TNL Performance.
We’re a sports performance and personal training facility built around one mission:
Help athletes and adults become the strongest, fastest, and most confident versions of themselves.
We work with two main groups of people:
• Youth Athletes (ages 12–18): Baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse, and more — athletes who want to move better, play harder, and perform at their peak.
• Busy Adults (mostly 40+): Parents, professionals, and weekend warriors who want to stay strong, pain-free, and confident.
We’re looking for a coach who loves the training process, wants to make an impact in the community, can communicate clearly, and brings positive energy to every session.
If you care about helping people move better, perform better, and feel better to become the best versions of themselves, TNL is the place to do it.
This Role is for You If:
• You love coaching athletes and helping them develop speed, strength, and confidence.
• You can switch gears: coaching a high school baseball or soccer player in one session and then a 45-year-old parent in the next.
• You’re reliable, adaptable, and able to lead the room with confidence and energy.
• You take pride in details: movement quality, effort, accountability, and connection.
This Role is Not for You If:
• You want to wing it without following a structured program.
• You think coaching is about yelling motivational quotes.
• You’d rather scroll your phone than be present on the floor.
What You’ll Do:
• Coach small-group performance sessions (2–10 clients) for both athletes and adults.
• Teach sprint mechanics, strength training, and proper movement patterns.
• Track progress and communicate with athletes, parents, and adult clients.
• Collaborate with our coaching staff to deliver an elite training experience.
What You’ll Get:
• Mentorship: Learn our proven training systems for both sports performance and adult personal training.
• Experience: Work with a wide range of athletes from middle school to college commitments, while also helping adults crush personal fitness goals.
• Education: Access to workshops, continuing ed, and in-house development.
• Growth Path: This is a full-time position, with opportunity to advance into head coach or leadership roles.
Details:
• Pay: $42,000-57,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
• Hours: Full-time to start (evenings & weekends required)
• Benefits (for qualifying roles):
• Paid time off up to 10 days per year
• Continuing education aid up to $1,000 per year
• Free gym access
• Bonus opportunities

• Must be able to commute to Hamilton, NJ and coach in person.
