Description
Strength & Conditioning Coach SMARTFIT360 | Danville & Livermore, CA
Position Type Part-Time (Path to Full-Time Leadership Role Available)
Who We Are SMARTFIT360 is a performance-driven strength training and sports performance facility serving athletes and adults in the Tri-Valley area. We specialize in progressive strength training, semi-private coaching, and long-term athletic development.
Our coaching model emphasizes teaching before loading, mechanics before intensity, and long-term results over short-term trends. Every session is structured, intentional, and delivered by professional coaches who care deeply about athlete development and client progress.
We operate two locations: Danville — Adult Semi-Private & Group Strength Training Livermore — Sports Performance & Athlete Development
We are currently expanding and looking for a coach interested in growing into a larger leadership role as we continue developing our Livermore location.
Role Overview This is not a “run the workout” position.
We are looking for a coach who wants to grow inside a structured performance system — someone who values coaching, teaching, and athlete development.
The right candidate is professional, detail-oriented, coachable, and interested in long-term development within a growing performance facility.
Key Responsibilities Coach scheduled group and semi-private strength training sessions Teach and demonstrate exercises clearly and safely Prioritize mechanics and movement quality before increasing load Provide real-time corrections and individualized coaching during sessions Progress and regress exercises appropriately Build strong relationships with athletes, adult members, and parents Maintain a high-energy, organized, and professional training environment Safely move and organize weights, benches, and equipment (up to 50 lbs) Maintain facility cleanliness and equipment organization Represent SMARTFIT360 professionally both inside and outside the facility
Ideal Candidate Driven and self-motivated Coachable and open to feedback Comfortable leading groups and communicating with parents Detail-oriented and organized Positive, energetic, and professional Interested in growing beyond hourly coaching into leadership responsibilities
Growth Opportunity This role is designed with development in mind. As SMARTFIT360 continues to grow, opportunities may include:
Lead coach responsibilities Athlete program oversight Performance testing and data tracking Sales and member onboarding involvement Expanded hours and compensation Potential full-time leadership role in Livermore
We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the company — not just fill shifts.
Schedule Afternoon and evening availability required (approximately 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM weekdays). Hours may increase as responsibilities grow.
Compensation $25 – $40 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Additional earning opportunities available as responsibilities expand.
How to Apply Submit your resume and a brief paragraph explaining why you want to coach — not just train.
