We are looking for a client-focused, entrepreneurial coach who is energized by building relationships, delivering an exceptional experience, and growing a meaningful book of business inside a premium training environment.
Job Overview
We are seeking a client focused and solutions driven Personal Trainer & Coach with people management experience, entrepreneurial zeal with strong leadership skills. This role is an additional force behind the growth of Sherpa’s 3,000+ square foot studio in Fairfield County.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AS A MEMBER OF OUR TEAM TO LEARN AND EXECUTE
- Build and maintain an accomplished client base
- Manage and maintain an accurate schedule, inclusive of client appointments, meetings, and open availability within our scheduling system
- Market and promote training and coaching programs to prospects and/or clients through phone calls, emails, and in-person interactions
- Maintain a working knowledge of all Sherpa's services, programs, products and initiatives.
- Service and hospitality
- Execute fitness assessments, guided workouts, and other complimentary services for clients
- Interact with clients to enhance their workouts and overall experience - be proactive
- Create and coach personalized programs for both in-person and virtual engagements
- Maintain an organized and safe environment during shifts and training sessions
- Attend and participate in any required one-on-one or team meetings - your voice matters.
Requirements
- Current Nationally recognized Personal Training certification or a bachelor's/graduate degree in the field
- Current CPR/AED certification (Certification opportunities available for non-certified applicants)
- Possess passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding fitness
- Ability to work in-person during weekdays/weekends
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Basic computer and technology skills
- Energetic, friendly, punctual, and respectful
